Share & Voice: Winter 2010 Sustainability Fair

I got an e-mail today from an employee at the NRRI that was telling us of an opportuntity to check out the Winter 2010 Sustainability Fair. The fair is today (November 29th) and tomorrow (November 30th). Today's events include a speaker (at 7pm in Weber Music Hall) by the name of Chris Pine. He is the director of the documentary called "Who Kill The Electric Car?". The details say he will talk about the politics, personalities, and cold hard cash reasons for the return of the electric car.

Tuesday's events include panels, another lecture by Chris Pine, and learning of sustainability that is happening here and UMD and also around the Duluth community. It starts at 11:00am on Tuesday and will run until about 5pm.

Check out the Sustainability Fair today or tomorrow to hear about what our school and community is doing to be more sustainable!

  1. It would be really interesting to see the debate happen. I wonder what issues would be discussed and it would be good to hear both sides of the debate. I would really like to hear what tips they will share to promote sustainability!

  3. I was wondering why electric cars have not been mentioned much over the past couple years!! I really do think that it's a very sustainable way to make a car run, and I'd be very interested on hearing a little more on the topic. Maybe I will shoot by tomorrow before 5pm and see what the hooplah is all about
