This video called "Global Warming 101" is a very interesting video to me. This video gives a small overview about what global warming is and how it is affecting our world today. I really like how it breaks down the information starting with the industrial revolution and then talks about how the sun also warms the earth. It is also very interesting that 1998 has been noted as the warmest year in history and 2005 is the second warmest year.
The reason I picked this video is because I like that it "dumbs it down" for everyone. This video would be very useful to show to people who are being taught about global warming for the first time or do not know much about global warming. I could show this video to middle school students, under-educated adults, or older adults who are not educated about this new and rising topic. It is very easy to understand but very informational all in one.
This video directly relates to environmental health because it deals directly with the environment. If we do not start taking care of our environment we might loose it all together and that will be very detrimental to our future. I think this video is very educational but is biased in the fact that it is promoting the theory of global warming 100%. It does not talk about any other options that could be affecting the environment. Overall, however, I think it does get the basic information across very well.
I really liked this video. I think it is a very good video for everyone who wants to learn about global warming. Thank you for sharing this with us.

ReplyDeleteThis video is great at explaining what global warming is and why we should care about it. What's also great about it is the fact that it does not use a whole lot of 'jargon' and unfamiliar terms, it actually explains what it is trying to tell you.

ReplyDeleteThis is a great video. It's very detailed. It is scary to think about global warming. I like it warm, but not to the point where we may burn off the face of the earth. This is a topic that I think will be more common as the years pass.
